CORE Acquires Popular Farmington Retail Plaza

CORE, the largest integrated commercial real estate firm in Northern New England, is pleased to announce the acquisition of 369 Wilton Road in Farmington. This suburban retail plaza, anchored by tenants like KFC and Taco Bell, is strategically located just two miles from the University of Maine at Farmington. It is also located on a major thoroughfare for Sugarloaf commuters. The transaction, which was an off-market cash acquisition, closed July 7th for $850,000.

“This deal represents a great opportunity for CORE to continue contributing to Farmington’s retail landscape,” said Josh Soley, President of CORE. “We have immediate plans to improve the property and invest in the success of our existing tenants. It’s a compelling property and serves as an important destination for the community.”

CORE was represented by Bob Horvath, Executive Vice President of Horvath & Trembley, one of the largest investment real estate brokerage firms in the United States. “Working with Bob Horvath is always a pleasure,” continued Soley. “He has an incredible network and has secured a fantastic opportunity for our investors.”

This deal marks another successful win for CORE’s recently launched Acquisitions Division. It is the fourth acquisition since its inception in July 2024. Based in Portland, Maine, CORE is targeting acquisition deals across the Eastern Seaboard while sharing unique capital opportunities. By remaining agile in the dynamic acquisitions space, CORE is also reducing the barrier to entry to a wider array of investors interested in diversifying their portfolio by entering the commercial real estate market.
