CORE, the largest integrated commercial real estate firm in Northern New England, has welcomed two new hires onto its fast-growing team. Vincent Orsini has joined CORE as Controller and Heaven Moore has taken a role as Office Administrator.
“Vincent and Heaven are two strong additions to our team,” said Josh Soley, President of CORE. “Vincent is building a robust accounting practice, streamlining processes and instituting a lot of efficiencies. Heaven is another dynamic team member with great customer service experience in the banking industry.”
As CORE’s inaugural controller, Vincent Orsini is responsible for managing financial processes and building an in-house accounting team. He’s working under the leadership of Executive Vice President, Dajana Derman.
Born and raised in New York, Vincent Orsini earned his master’s in accounting from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and bachelor’s in financial accounting from Siena College. He spent several years in New York City working in corporate accounting for fashion brands, then he transitioned into public accounting in Albany. Most recently he was a financial analyst, managing the financial affairs of high net-worth individuals.
“I’m enjoying being back on the corporate side of things,” says Vincent. “It’s exciting to be part of a business that is its own living, breathing entity—as opposed to working with various clients. I’m valued for my insights and contributions—and the sky is the limit here. I enjoy the energy that a young company brings.”
Heaven Moore also recently joined the Operations and Management team at CORE as Office Administrator. Her background is in customer service in banking and she now primarily handles accounts payable while managing numerous office functions. “I love working here,” she said. “This is the first job that I am excited to come to in the morning. I enjoy everyone that I work with, people here are encouraged to be supportive and collaborative.”
Heaven says a particular highlight is living and working in downtown Portland. “I just got a new apartment two blocks away from CORE’s offices on Congress Street,” she says. “I love that I can wake up in the morning, grab a coffee, and walk into the office with my new puppy.”
