Job Summary:
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the financial health of our commercial property portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate accounting, financial analysis, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate financial data.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Perform bank reconciliations and cash management.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Maintenance Technician role located in the Portland, Maine Metropolitan Area. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing property maintenance and troubleshooting. Other responsibilities will include monitoring building systems, responding to tenant requests, and performing routine inspections and maintenance tasks.

CORE has an immediate opening for a dedicated full-time Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and improving commercial and multi-family buildings in the Greater Portland Area. Daily work orders and projects may include light plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, boilers, inspections, HVAC maintenance as well as other duties assigned. We’re looking for a professional who will take the initiative and help anticipate problems before they occur. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, pays attention to detail, takes pride in their work, has strong customer service skills, is self-motivated, and works well alone and as part of a team. Compensation will be based on experience and abilities; paid time off, health, over-time and other benefits offered.
